St George’s Hall

The Visitor Entrance is located via St John’s Lane or by using comet.pools.sailor on What3words.

  • The Visitor Centre in St George’s Hall is open Monday to Saturday, 9.30am to 5pm (last entry 4.45pm) Please note: The Visitor Services desk will be closed from Wednesday 24th December to Friday 2nd January. Normal service will resume on Friday 2nd January.
  • Guided tours of the hall are available on selected dates; please see the ‘What’s on’ page for details of times and dates
  • Café 1854 is open Thursday to Saturday 10am – 2pm
  • The Stable Gallery opening hours vary with each exhibition; please check the page for specific details
  • Liverpool Register Office is open Monday to Friday, 9am to 4.45pm

Café 1854 is a cozy snug within the Visitor Centre. 

Open Thursday to Saturday 10am – 2pm.

By Car
Follow the postcode L11 1EH (Muirhead Avenue entrance) on your sat nav. There is limited parking available on-site, and this is on a first-come, first-served basis and cannot be reserved. Parking is available between 7am-8pm (April-October) and 7am-6pm (November-March).

By Bike
There are over 10 entrances for walkers and cyclists and bike racks are located at the back of Croxteth Hall.

The tour meeting point is located at the West Entrance (Black Doors) located directly opposite ‘The Garden Bench’.
