“This is Yours” – A Bold New Chapter for Liverpool City Halls

For nearly nine centuries, St George’s Hall, Liverpool Town Hall, and Croxteth Hall have been the backdrop to the city’s most iconic moments—from courtroom drama and Royal visits to wedding vows and everyday joy. Now, these three historic landmarks come together under one bold new identity: Liverpool City Halls.

A Shared Legacy. A Unified Future.

Each Hall is unique, and yet despite their individual stories, they share one powerful thing: they’ve shaped Liverpool’s past and continue to inspire its future. That’s why we’ve brought them together—under a single brand that celebrates their unique character and collective impact.

At Liverpool City Halls, we’re inviting you to rediscover our iconic venues through a fresh lens.

More Than a Rebrand—It’s a Reconnection

Our new identity goes beyond logos and typefaces. It’s an invitation. To revisit, to rediscover, and to reclaim these spaces as your own.

Whether it’s a milestone like a wedding or birth, or something beautiful and every day, like walking your dog, or grabbing a coffee with a friend—these spaces are woven into the fabric of our lives and this rebrand is about reigniting that connection.

The Logo: A Visual Story

At the heart of our new look is a logo that tells a story. Three lines, representing each Hall, intertwine to reflect their shared journey—past, present, and future.

A graphic timeline builds on this, capturing the enduring connection between these venues and the people they serve. These lines flow together, symbolising how our Halls have evolved, while still remaining deeply connected to the community.

Our new look blends the rich legacies of each Hall, with the exciting new experiences we now offer.

Celebrating the Evolution

This visual transformation comes at a landmark moment—between St George’s Hall’s 170th anniversary in 2024 and Croxteth Hall’s 450th in 2025; it serves as a powerful reminder that heritage and innovation can walk hand in hand.

New spaces like The Stable Gallery in St George’s Hall showcases local artists and creativity, whilst ‘Café 1854’ in St George’s Hall and ‘Café 1575’ at Croxteth Hall provide a warm welcome and offer more ways for the community to connect and belong.

“These Halls Belong to You”

Angie Redhead, Head of Operations, said: “Over the decades, these Halls evolved, but they remain for the people of this city and the moments that define us.

They’re more than just historic sites; they’re places for learning, celebration, creativity, and community.

The people of this city have always shaped the story of our Halls and so this rebrand is about making sure everyone knows: these spaces are yours; for your celebrations, your life moments, and your memories.
