Great Hall Viewing

This half-term, we’re opening our doors for self-guided tours of the Great Hall—come and take a look inside!
Looking for things to do in Liverpool this half-term? We’re opening the doors of the magnificent Great Hall at St. George’s Hall as an opportunity to experience its grandeur. Step inside this historic space and take in the breath-taking scale and beauty of one of Liverpool’s most iconic buildings.
Whilst this is not a guided tour, you’ll have 30-40 minutes to explore the Great Hall at your own pace, soaking in its rich history and stunning architecture, with plenty of photographs encouraged! Our City Hall Ambassadors who are passionate volunteers with a wealth of knowledge about our City Halls, will also be on hand to offer insights about St. George’s Hall during your visit.
To ensure this experience is inclusive and can reach as many people as possible, we’ve priced our tickets at an affordable rate with a capacity of 50 people per time slot, with the cost helping to support the ongoing preservation and care of St. George’s Hall, helping to maintain its grandeur for generations to come. We hope this gives those who may not be able to attend a guided tour, a chance to see this iconic building in a different way.
