Nordic Walking

Every Monday

Nordic Walking at Croxteth Country Park (Free of charge). Every Monday. Full instruction and equipment provided. Meet new people, be healthy and have fun.


Xplorer, the Family Fun Challenge

Tuesdays and Thursdays in August, 1pm - 3pm

Join the Environmental Advocate Team (E.A. Team) at Croxteth for the Xplorer Challenge Xplorer is a FREE family friendly navigation challenge that is educational and fun and gives children a sense of adventure as they explore the park to find the markers. It involves a healthy mix of physical activity and decision making that the whole family can enjoy together. At each marker children need to identify what is pictured and enjoy learning a fun fact to tell their friends. Certificates for all those who complete the course!

'Hands on History' at Croxteth Hall

Wednesdays in August (3rd, 10th, 17th, 24th, 31st)

See Croxteth Hall come to life with our costumed Heritage Volunteers. Help the servants carry out some of their 'Downstairs' tasks; help 'Cook' and her 'maids' to make chocolate truffles in the kitchen, or learn how to fold napkins and carry wine with the 'Butler'.

In the park, at the shops, even on the ferry – there’s always time for a story, wherever you are! Following the success of Anytime is Storytime 2015, Liverpool City of Readers will be holding free storytime sessions for families across the city.

Croxteth Hall Garden Society Flower Show

Friday 12th August

This is our annual one day traditional Flower Show organised by the Croxteth Hall Garden Society. There are 50 classes - something for everyone to enjoy, from Cut Flowers, Fruit, Vegetables, Pot Plants, Floral Art, Preserves and Home Baking, Photography and Poetry. Come along and see lots of home grown produce and artistic talent, displayed in the Library Suite inside Croxteth Hall. Admission to the Flower Show is only £2.00, Concessions £1.50 (accompanied children are free). Please note entry to Flower show is separate from Hall tour.

Communicate with the afterlife, let's find out what really happened to Lord Sefton, his family and his guests with tour of his home. Witness a demonstration of mediumship and spirit art.

Croxteth Hall Ghost Hunt has exclusive access to rooms that have been left in a time that has been forgot. Over the last ten years of the building ghosts and spirits have been caught on video. Liverpool Fever Fest is coming to Croxteth Country Park on August Bank Holiday 2016. We will be holding this ticketed event in a stunning circus-style tent and providing you with the best 70s, 80s & 90s classics. International DJs will keep you dancing all night, with disco lighting and a ultra high powered sound system, this is an event not to be missed!

Memory Walk for Alzheimer's Society

Sunday 4th September

Liverpool Memory Walk takes place at the beautiful Croxteth Country Park, a 500 acre former estate and ancestral home of the Molyneux family, the Earls of Sefton, before it passed to the council in 1972. It houses a real working Home Farm, a Victoria Walled Garden and a nature reserve.

Beat the Reaper 10K Run

Sunday 16th October

Beat the Reaper is a 10k race set within the picturesque setting of Croxteth Country Park. This is a 2 lap course of the park passing through the woods where Reapers lurk ready to race you to the finish. Can you make it back before he gets you?

Mo-Running 5K and 10K Road Race

The journey to being a 2016 MoRunner starts here. To be a MoRunner means you are part of something bigger than yourself! You’re part of a community, a family, a team. When you step up to that start line at your MoRun, look to your left, look to your right, and remember friends are all around you! So whether there’s a MoBro with a funny moustache, or maybe a MoSista that’s painted one on, or even someone dressed up as a superhero, give them a smile, shake their hand, give them a high five and just remember we are all in it together. Run hard, run fast, have fun and enjoy being part of something special!
