The Friends are a charity that supports and safeguards the hall and park, holding events for members and fundraising for projects in the park and publishing a newsletter for members.
The Heritage Volunteers are based in the hall, providing information and guiding visitors, making the past come to life. They help with schools and group visits too, as well as researching the rich history of the hall, the Molyneux family and the tenants and staff of the historic estate.
The volunteers organise work parties in the park to improve its environment and habitats. They also help look after the built heritage of the park from their base at the Old Kennels. They offer you a friendly welcome and the opportunity to give something back to care for the Park.
The Garden Society hold meetings through the year for the green-fingered, and those that would like to be, with a series of informative talks and community Flower Shows.
You can help out in the wonderful walled garden at Croxteth, helping the Head Gardener and other staff care for Liverpool’s living heritage.
The Pony Club at Croxteth is for children and young adults that don’t own their own horses, but ride at the Croxteth Centre. Part of the national Pony Club, they take part in regular events, compete for their club, and learn stable management and other equestrian skills.
