Between the months of April and September the Victorian Walled Garden is open for you to relax in this hidden treasure almost untouched by time.
Colourful scented borders lead to well-stocked vegetable plots once tended by gardeners who grew produce for 'the big house'.
The garden also houses part of Liverpool's very special botanical collection - a nationally important historic plant collection.
Today's gardeners at Croxteth are always pleased to give advice or answer any questions you may have.
Our Your Visit section gives you details of our opening hours, ticket prices and how to buy tickets online.
Throughout the year special events are held in the garden. See our What's on guide to find out more.
You can also hire the Victorian Walled Garden for private functions.
You can help out in the wonderful walled garden at Croxteth, helping the Head Gardener and other staff care for Liverpool’s living heritage.
The Garden Society hold meetings through the year for the green-fingered, and those that would like to be, with a series of informative talks and community Flower Shows.
